Hyundai Tucson: Body Side Molding / Rear Spoiler

1. Rear Spoiler


- Replacement

   

• When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.

• Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

1.Remove the liftgate upper trim.(Refer to Liftgate - "Liftgate Trim")

2.Disconnect the rear stop lamp connector (A).

3.Remove the liftgate plug hole (A).[LH]

[RH]

4.Loosen the mounting nuts, remove the rear spoiler (A).

Tightening torque : 3.3 - 4.4 N.m (0.34 - 0.46 kgf.m, 2.5 - 3.3 lb-ft)

5.To install, reverse the removal procedure.

   

• Make sure the connector is connected properly.

• Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
