When a vehicle is detected in a blind
spot, the warning light on the side view
mirror illuminates.
- Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist
operates when your vehicle speed
is above 12 mph (20 km/h) and the
speed of the vehicle in the blind spot
area is above 7 mph (10 km/h).
Collision warning may operate when the
turn signal is turned on in the direction of
a detected vehicle.
- To warn you of a potential collision,
the warning light on the side view
mirror may blink and an audible
warning may sound.
- When the turn signal is turned off or
you move away from the vehicle in
the blind spot, the function returns to
vehicle detection state.
WARNING
- The detection range of the rear corner
radar is determined by a standard
road width. On narrow roads, the
function may detect other vehicles in
the next lane and warn you. On wide
roads, the function may not be able
to detect a vehicle driving in the next
lane and may not warn you.
- When the hazard warning flasher is
on, the collision warning initiated by
activating the turn signal may not
operate.
