Hyundai Tucson: Rear Seat / Rear Seat Assembly

- Component Location

1. Rear seat cushion assembly
2. Rear seat back assembly

• Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

• Take care not to bend or scratch the rear seat assembly.

1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.Open the rear seat front block cover, loosen the mounting bolts and then lift the rear seat assembly up.

Tightening torque :49.0 - 63.7 N.m (5.0 - 6.5 kgf.m , 36.2 - 47.0 lb-ft)

3.Disconnect the connector (A) and loosen the mounting bolts.

• Secure the rear seat cushion assembly so that it does not fall off.

4.Open the folding cable cover (A).

5.Separate the rear seat folding cable (A).

6.Loosen the mounting bolts, remove the rear seat assembly (A).

7.To install, reverse removal procedure.

• Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.

2.Open the rear seat front block cover, loosen the mounting bolts and then lift the rear seat assembly up.

Tightening torque :49.0 - 63.7 N.m (5.0 - 6.5 kgf.m , 36.2 - 47.0 lb-ft)

3.Disconnect the connector (A).

4.Disconnect the connector (A) and loosen the mounting bolts.

• Secure the rear seat cushion assembly so that it does not fall off.

5.Open the folding cable cover (A).

6.Separate the rear seat folding cable (A).

7.Loosen the mounting bolts, remove the rear seat assembly (A).

8.To install, reverse removal procedure.

• Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
