Hyundai Tucson: Power Liftgate Module / PTG Spindle
1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.Remove the rear pillar trim.(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - Interior Trim - Rear Pillar Trim)
3.Disconnect the PTG spindle connector (A).
4.Using a flat-tip screwdriver, remove the mounting clip (A).
5.Remove the spindle assembly after loosening mounting bolts.
• Take care not to be closed the lift gate, when removing the lift.
1.Install the PTG spindle assembly.
Tightening torque : 6.9 - 10.8 Nm (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.0 - 7.9 lbf.ft)
2.Connect the PTG spindle connector.
3.Install the rear pillar trim.
4.Install the luggage side trim.
5.Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
