Hyundai Tucson: Body (Interior and Exterior) / Mirror

Outside Rear View Mirror

- Component Location

1. Outside rear view mirror

- Replacement

• When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.

• Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

1.Remove the front door trim.(Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Trim")

2.Press the lock pin, separate the outside rear view mirror connector (A).

3.Loosen the mounting bolts and clip, remove the outside rear view mirror (A).

Tightening torque :6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1kgf.m , 5.1 - 8.0 lb-ft)

4.To install, reverse removal procedure.

• Make sure the connector is connected properly.

Inside Rear View Mirror

- Component Location

1. Inside rear view mirror

- Replacement

• When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.

• Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.Remove the inside rear view mirror cover (A).

3.Remove the rain sensor cover (A).

4.Disconnect the inside rear view mirror connector (A).

5.Loosen the mounted screws and push the ECM mirror base upward to remove the ECM mirror assembly (A).

6.To install, reverse removal procedure.

• Be careful not to damage the windshield glass.

• Make sure the connector is connected properly.
