• Be careful not to damage the parts located under the vehicle (floor under cover, fuel filter, fuel tank and canister) when raising the vehicle using the lift.(Refer to General Information - "Lift and Support Points")
1.Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
2.Remove the air cleaner assembly.(Refer to Intake and Exhasut System - "Air Cleaner")
3.Drain the coolant.(Refer to Cooling System - "Coolant")
4.Remove the front bumper assembly.(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "Front Bumper Assembly")
5.Remove the air intake shield (A).
Tightening torque :7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft)

6.Remove the radiator upper air guard (A).
Tightening torque :3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb-ft)

7.Remove the radiator side air guard (A).
Tightening torque :3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb-ft)


8.Remove the front bumper beam assembly.(Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "Front Bumper Beam Assembly")
9.Remove the radiator mounting bracket (A).
Tightening torque :7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft)


10.Disconnect the radiator upper hose (A) and degassing hose (B) from radiator.

11.Loosen the A/C pipe mounting bolt (A).
Tightening torque :4.9 - 7.8 N.m (0.5 - 0.8 kgf.m, 3.6 - 5.8 lb-ft)

12.Disconnect the radiator lower hose (A).

13.Disconnect the ATF cooler hose (A).

14.Remove the cooling fan & radiator assembly (A).

15.Remove the cooling fan (A).

16.Install in the reverse order of removal.
17.Fill engine coolant.(Refer to Cooling System - "Coolant")
• When changing the coolant and draining air, be sure to follow the filling instructions of the Integrated Thermal Management Module (ITM).
18.Check the coolant leakage by starting up the engine.
19.Recheck the coolant level.
1.Remove the radiator cap, wet its seal with engine coolant, and then install it on a pressure tester. (SST 0K253 - P4200)

2.Apply a pressure of 125.52 - 154.94 kPa (1.28 - 1.58 kgf/cm², 18.21 - 22.47 psi).
3.Check for a drop in pressure.
4.If the pressure drops, replace the cap.
