• Be careful not to damage the parts located under the vehicle (floor under cover, fuel filter, fuel tank and canister) when raising the vehicle using the lift.(Refer to General Information - "Lift and Support Points")
1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2.Remove the engine room under cover.(Refer to the Engine And Transaxle Assembly - "Engine Room Under Cover")
3.Drain engine oil.(Refer to the Lubrication System - "Engine Oil")
4.Remove the intake manifold.(Refer to the Intake And Exhaust System - "Intake Manifold")
5.Disconnect the oil pressure sensor connector (A).
6.Remove the oil pressure sensor (B).
Tightening torque :35.3 - 38.2 N.m (3.6 - 3.9 kgf.m, 26.0 - 28.2 lb-ft)

7.Install in the reverse order of removal.
• When installing the oil pressure sensor, apply SEAL LOCK on the threads.
Specification : TB2403Thickness : 0.2 - 0.4 mm (0.00787 - 0.01575 in.)

1.Check the continuity between the terminal and the body with an ohmmeter. If there is no continuity, replace the oil pressure switch.

2.Check the continuity between the terminal and the body when the fine wire is pushed. If there is continuity even when the fine wire is pushed, replace the switch.

3.If there is no continuity when a 49.0kpa (0.5kg/cm², 7.1psi) is applied through the oil hole, the switch is operating properly.Check for air leakage. If air leaks, the diaphragm is broken. Replace it.
